AutoCAD was first introduced in the month of December in 1982 as a desktop app running on microcomputers with internal graphics controllers. It is used in industry by architects, civil engineers, graphic designers, city planners and many other professionals. Initially AutoCAD was derived from a program called Interact, which was written in a proprietary language.
There are many merits of using AutoCAD.

It has been an asset for the 3D design industry for more than 30 years. They are also adopted as a skill development application for a graduate-level of education. It has evolved to become one of the most sophisticated design tools in the industry these days.
